Photographers needed for expenses-paid summer opportunity
CE Photo works closely with Neilson Holidays in eight different Beach Clubs across Southern Europe. They provide a sophisticated resort photography service to holiday makers offering natural and unobtrusive action photos, bespoke beach portraits as well as photography workshops. This freelance position is with the CE Photo Photography team to deliver a high-end photography service for daily sports/kids action and family beach portraiture.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain an excellent standard of customer service
- Using your own high spec photography equipment to capture photos on land or in a powerboat, capturing images of guests taking part in a range of activities – dinghy sailing, windsurfing, paddle sports, tennis, mountain biking and the kids clubs
- Working from centre timetables and making informed coverage decisions
- Using photographic software to edit, organise and export photos to sellable standard
- Organising, delivering and running photography workshops for guests
- Soft selling, booking, preparing and delivering fun and friendly family portrait sessions on the beach
- Work as part of a team to set up, pack up, and proactively provide assistance to all guests using the photo kiosk each day and occasional evenings
- To practically help with the set up of the photography kiosk and hotel at the start of the season and the pack down of the resort at the end of the season
- Deliver personable, informative and efficient info service for the guests on arrival and throughout each week
- Be prepared to move between different resorts according to operational needs of the business to fulfil your contractual end date
- Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties, within reason, as requested by your Lead Photographer according to skillset and training provided
Qualifications and Experience required
- Educated to GCSE standard.
- Portfolio of images that demonstrates good understanding of digital photography
- Previous customer service experience (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required
- Ability to deliver fun, engaging, and quality family photoshoots
- Skilled in using camera equipment to quickly adapt settings for light and other conditions
- Good understanding of digital photography software for basic photo editing and organisation
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests of all ages, management, and other staff
- Work well within a team and maintain effective working relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to build rapport with guests and soft sell
- NI number, EU passport (valid for at least 6 months after return) and UK bank account
- Evidence of registration as self-employed with HMRC (or about to register)
- Travel and public liability insurance
- Own DSLR camera equipment
- Professional standard laptop with recognised editing software (i.e. Aperture or Adobe Lightroom)

What Clare Edmead Photography provides
An attractive package which includes basic pay (not NMW), commission and incentives, along with the following:
- Return flight to destination
- Accommodation (in a shared room) and 3 meals daily
- 1 day off per week and upto 13 days holiday dependent on contract term
- Training and on-going support
- Use of water sports equipment
- Commission and incentives related to performance and role/responsibilities
Period of Work
The ideal candidate would be available to start mid April and finish at the end of October. However, we have some roles for photographers that start at the end of May and the end of June and also have some options to finish mid to late September.
