Work as a Festival Assistant at the British Science Festival

The British Science Festival is heading to Brighton from the 5th to the 9th September and is looking for students to help make this exciting event a success.

The five day festival is being jointly hosted by Universities of Brighton and Sussex and is being run by the British Science Association with events to attract not just academics but also the scientifically interested public.

The British Science Association are looking to recruit university students and alumni for a number of Festival Assistant roles to help with the Festival. The assistants play an important role of overseeing events, being the first point of contact for speakers, members of the public and Festival staff. The roles would be ideal for those who have an interest in events, hospitality and science communication. There are five different roles of Festival assistants:

– Building Managers

– General Event Assistant

– AV Support Assistant

– Press Office Assistants

– Box Office Assistants

If you are interested in being a part one of the worlds longest-established public engagement events, then do get in touch with the British Science Association team.
