Who?

Woody Ledeboer

A former BA(Hons) Humanities: War, Conflict & Modernity student at Brighton, Woody completed a Masters in International Security at Sussex.

He is now a freelance television producer working for various independent production companies across London and predominantly making specialist, factual documentaries for broadcasters such as National Geographic, PBS, The Smithsonian Channel & Discovery.

 

 

 

 

Stan Portus

Stan graduated from the History of Design, Culture and Society BA(Hons) in 2014 having also completed a placement at the University’s Design Archives and written for the History of Art and Design department’s blog.

Since then he has worked and volunteered for galleries and museums, written for a variety of magazines, and worked as a researcher. Now in the final few weeks of an MA at the RCA in Critical Writing in Art and Design, he is editor of “Meet Me in the Present: Documents and their Afterlives” shortly to be published by the programme. He has also written short fiction and for other media such as podcasts.

 

 

 

Alice Power

Alice graduated from the BA(Hons) Museum and Heritage Studies course in 2015.

Since June 2016, she has worked as an Assistant Curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum in the Design, Architecture and Digital department.

 

 

 

 

Dan Simmonds

Since graduating in 2014 Dan has worked for Brighton Students’ Union and in his current role supports around 1,000 Course and School Representatives with training, resources and solutions for course-level issues throughout the academic year.

He first got involved with the Students’ Union as a volunteer in his first year as an undergraduate, an experience that led to his first graduate opportunity and subsequent progression within the Students’ Union.
