Get involved during Student Volunteering Week (20-24 Feb)

Student Volunteering Week 2017 is going to be huge!

Throughout the week there will be opportunities for students on all campuses to chat with Active Student (the university’s volunteering service) but there are also all kinds of activities that allow you to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in to volunteer work. The full list is below — please note that the BIG ACTIVITY events must be booked in advance using the links provided.

The Real Junk Food Project has been incredibly successful in the Brighton area, even appearing on Jamie and Jimmie’s programme on Channel 4. They take in literally tons of food that would otherwise be wasted by supermarkets and companies and are always looking for volunteers to help create fantastic food for their pay-as-you-feel community cafes. The Project will be talking with anyone interested in their volunteer role during Monday lunchtime.
