Tech jobs fair for women, postgrad study fair and a mock deaf assessment centre – the 2017 events season is warming up…

Here’s the first few drops of what promises to be a positive deluge of careers events for 2017…and yes, I *did* get a big new book of cheesy metaphors for Christmas. Thank you for asking…

P124098125 January – Tomorrow’s Tech Leaders Today will bring together the UK’s brightest young female talent (that’s you) with organisations that are eager to create a more balanced workforce. Network with employers and learn about exclusive job opportunities, guests will have the opportunity to attend a series of workshops and discussions led by some of the industry’s most prominent personalities. Current partners (some will also be exhibiting) include RBS, Tesco, Milkround, Stem Graduates, Rolls Royce, NCC Group, FDM, Informed Solutions, Ocado Technology, BT, Direct Line Group, Stemettes and many more to be announced. http://bit.ly/2izD6k4.

25 January: Postgraduate Study Fair, University of London. Meet representatives from 80+ universities and find out about courses, funding and more. http://bit.ly/2fsRSsu

21 April – Mock Deaf Graduate Assessment Scheme. Deaf Unity is working with Ernst & Young (EY), a global professional services firm, to run a mock Deaf Graduate Assessment Centre. The assessment centre is aimed at deaf graduates and students who have an interest in working for EY. It is a great opportunity for candidates to meet other deaf graduates in an accessible environment, and participate in some mock assessment centre exercises. http://bit.ly/2iOKE04
