Super Supply – Top Tips for success

COD, West Chicago District 33 Team Up through New Dual-Language Program 2016 4

Are you training to be a teacher? This free workshop may be for you…

“Super Supply – Top Tips for success” ran and written by Gary Toward and Chris Henley the authors of  The Art of Being a Brilliant Teacher and The Art of Being a Brilliant NQT. As the UK’s leading education recruiter HAYS are committed to sharing meaningful insight and information with the education community, and this is a completely free worship aimed at both NQT’s who wish to take on a bit of extra training before venturing into cover work, and also seasoned supply teachers wishing to brush up on their skills.

Ratton School in Eastbourne, 5pm – 7.30 pm on Tuesday 10 May 2016

At the event, Gary and Chris will be speaking about their Super Supply booklet as well as offering tip and tricks on how to motivate students, deal with difficult behaviour and how to get the best out of the day’s lessons. This training session is aimed at both Primary and Secondary teaching, and although it won’t be covering specific lesson plans, it will give general information on how to prepare for what sometimes can be a challenging and difficult job! Our consultants will also be in attendance, so if the session does appeal to your students interest about supply work, we will of course be available to speak afterwards and advise them of the registration process with Hays.

Some more information about the event is below, as well as quotes from Hays supply teachers who attended our Birmingham event:

“Lively presentation, excellent ideas, loads to take away with me and use. I can say – the best training course I have ever done”

“Very entertaining and had everyone involved. A lot of interesting elements relating to everyday supply work”

“Provided excellent advice and tips on the qualities of being a good supply teacher”

Please note, we will need to know numbers and names before the event so if you think you are interested, please call Danielle Lees on 01273 729465 or email

Participants to not need to be registered with Hays, this event has been organised to simply share best practice and network with fellow teachers
