HOUSE Festival 2016 – on campus Thursday 14 April, 10am-2pm

Talking to students about their festival volunteering roles – in the Grand Parade Main Building Cafe/Bar, City Campus. No need to book, just drop in for a few minutes to say hello and find out more. A member of the Active Student Volunteering Service will be on hand to answer any other questions you have about volunteering in the local community.

Photographer Volunteer roles with The Charleston Trust – a number of places available

Charleston is a thriving historic house museum in the Sussex countryside between Lewes and Eastbourne.  It was the former home of artists Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell and the country retreat of the Bloomsbury group. A pool of photographers is sought to photograph workshops, school visits, the house and its collection, shop and café, garden, wildlife and plants etc. Volunteering hours are flexible. Application process includes a DBS Check. This role may suit someone who is interested in a career in photography and would like to increase their skills and knowledge of museum/arts/heritage sector.

City Campus Volunteering Drop-in

Resumes Thursday 21 April, 2-3:30pm in the Student Centre, Grand Parade Main Building. Alternate Thursdays during term-time – 2-3:30pm on 21 April, 5 May, 19 May and 2 June 2016. – A space for students and staff to drop-in to informally ask about volunteering in the local community and how to get involved.
