Think you’ll walk in to a Computing or Media job? This post will blow your mind!

So you assume that getting a decent job involves passing your degree and firing off a few applications? Sadly that’s not the case.

Statistics show that Computing and Media are two industries where you need to work at it a bit more. There are loads of fantastic employers out there who want to recruit Brighton grads (see for yourself on the uni’s job database ), but employers want to know about more than just your degree, and you still need to sell yourself to them too.

Don’t despair ’cause guess what…we’re here to help!

HOORAY

You are invited to Careers in Computing and Media next Wednesday. We have a fantastic list of exhibitors (see below) and lots of careers and placements info and support available.

The employers want to help you get a job in their company. They’ll tell you what it’s like to work there, and answer all your questions about what they’re looking for and what their recruitment procedure involves.

Wednesday 2 March 2016, 1 to 3pm
Cockcroft Hall, Moulsecoomb campus
