Thinking of teaching? Train to Teach event in St Leonards-on-Sea on 27 January 2016
Did you know that you can now train ‘on the job’ in school or at a university? If you are interested in teaching as a career, then this event is for you!
When? Wednesday, 27 January 2016 from 5 – 8 pm
Where? The St Leonard’s Academy, Edinburgh Road, St Leonard’s on Sea, East Sussex TN38 8HH
This event will give you the opportunity to find out more about the routes into teaching. You will:
- attend a presentation to find out more about the routes into teaching
- meet School Direct schools within your region, who can tell you more about the places they have on the School Direct Training Programme
- meet teacher training providers from your region, who can tell you about the courses they offer and their entry requirements
- hear from current teachers at all levels about their experiences, including those who have changed career to teach
- attend our advice zone for personalised advice from one of our experts; ensure you don’t forget to bring a copy of your personal statement and CV with you
