  • Closing 7 December! The British Council are taking applications from UK PhD students to undertake a 3-6 month placement in an Indian research institution. Applications must be in the Biosciences or disciplines that interface with the Biosciences. The grants will include a stipend and will cover all travel, accommodation, visa costs and medical insurance.  http://bit.ly/1MAzK8A
  • Support for UK scholars: The British Council India offers support to UK PhD scholars in obtaining more information from potential host institutions. Contact: newton@in.britishcouncil.org
  • British Council Generation UK-India programme launched last year and aims to support up to 25,000 young people and professionals from the UK to undertake study and work placements in India by 2020.
