Version 15 of Adobe Creative Cloud is now out, and will be rolled out to university PCs in due course.   As yet untested, but seems to be getting good reviews . . .

Graduates who have been away from the University for a while would I suspect be quite surprised by the transformation of the Cockcroft Building . . . .

Good luck to those about to go out this year to companies that include Innovate Design, Liquid Design, Rolls Royce, Bamboa, Disney, Kellogs and Monier. Good luck also to those going on the exchange programme to Barcelona, Milan, Brasov and Lundt.

Congratulations to the Institution of Engineering Designers who celebrated their 70th birthday with patron the Duke of Edinburgh at St James Palace last night.  The event was warm, friendly and professional which seems to me to sum up the IED, and it also saw the awarding of the first Charted Technical Product Design awards which will now offer a significant route to product designers who are not drawn towards the traditional C.Eng route (more details – http://www.ied.org.uk/).
