Members of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Jonathan Woodham, Dr Catherine Moriarty, and postgraduate research student Ruth Cribb are taking part in a conference organised by the University of Notre Dame Centre in London on 19 and 20 November. The aim of the event is to consider from a historical perspective the work of Eric Gill and the Guild of Saint Joseph & Saint Dominic and to explore from a design perspective the challenges involved in making archival resources available on-line and in the creation of associated research tools.

The strong Faculty presence reflects the considerable expertise that the University has in these fields. Jane Devine was also to have made a presentation but was unavoidably prevented from doing so, her work on the Cetld online exhibitions project plays no small part in the skills and knowledge the Faculty has developed in this field and which will be represented at this event.

The conference is free and open to the public, but preregistration is required.
