Brighton Legal Walk 2018

The University of Brighton Law School are partaking in the Brighton Legal Walk 2018… come and join us! The 10km walk will be led by HH Judge Farquhar, HH Judge Bedford and DJ Pollard, starting at Brighton Magistrates Court at 5.30PM in aid of raising funds for local free legal advice agencies. Anyone is welcome to join the University team to support the cause, so please bring along friends, family and work colleagues.

Teams entered so far include the likes of – Citizens Advice Brighton & Hove, Sussex Courts, Martin Searle Solicitors and MW Solicitors, for example, so it is also a great way to network and meet people who could potentially impact or help with your studies and/or legal career! This includes local members of the legal profession, judges, local firms and chambers.

The link for our fundraising page is: and sponsorship forms can be made available upon request. Any donation really helps and goes a long way to supporting great, local causes promoting access to justice.

As stated above, the walk will begin at Brighton Magistrates Court at 5.30PM (registration from 5.00PM) and will be a coastal walk from Brighton to Hove. The road is reasonably wheelchair friendly. To finish, there will be a reception held at Citizens Advice office in Hove Town (Tisbury Rd, Hove BN3 3BQ) where nibbles and drinks will be provided – it is not to be missed!

Thank you in advance and we look forward to seeing you all for the walk!
