Brighton graduate named one of 2024’s most impressive female entrepreneurs
Liz Price, a School of Business and Law graduate, has been crowned one of the UK’s most impressive female entrepreneurs by Small Business Britain’s ‘f:Entrepreneur #IAlso100’ campaign.
Liz, who studied Change Management MA at Brighton, founded Full Frame Coach in 2020. Full Frame Coach provides leadership coaching to women who feel isolated or marginalized.
Small Business Britain’s ‘f:Entrepreneur #IAlso100’ campaign which celebrates the multi-achievements of women running businesses in the UK today, has profiled Liz as one of 100 inspirational female entrepreneurs from across the country.
From AI companies to female-run tradeswoman platforms and sustainable fashion designers, the f:Entrepreneur ‘#IAlso100’ line-up particularly showcases trailblazing female founders who lead purpose-driven businesses alongside a roster of other responsibilities, such as volunteering, mentoring and community support.
Indeed, Liz was also called out for her NHS role as senior programme manager in transforming cancer services in London, volunteering for two national cancer charities (Cancer Research UK and Cancer Care Map), as well as studying and volunteering at Jamyang London Buddhist Centre.
On being featured in the #ialso100 lineup, Liz said: “I’m thrilled to be included in this year’s iAlso lineup – juggling so many roles is hugely rewarding, but it can also be stressful. I’m very excited to see what this year brings for Full Frame Coach and to meet so many other inspiring, female founders in the iAlso community!”.
And asked how her experience on the Change Management MA has informed her business, Liz said: “I did my MA quite a few moons ago, but I use the learning every single day. Themes and topics come up whilst coaching individuals, facilitating action learning sets, coping with the ups and downs of entrepreneurial life, and in the other parts of my life which makes me an #ialso. I also learnt how people with opposite traits can be a perfect team, if they respect each other and work together for a common goal. Steve Reeve and Mark Hughes showed us this every single day we were in their company. They were a mighty teaching duo!”
Launched in 2017 by Small Business Britain – the leading champion of small businesses in the UK – the f:Entrepreneur campaign aims to raise greater awareness of the impact of incredible female business owners across the country, and help provide inspiration and role models to the wider small business community.
“Congratulations to Liz at Full Frame Coach, and each of the phenomenal women featured in this year’s #IAlso100,” said Michelle Ovens CBE, founder of Small Business Britain.
“It is so important that we call out the incredible contribution of women running businesses across the UK. As well as growing economic prosperity across the UK, they are also having a tremendous, wider positive impact on local communities too. Despite all of the challenges of recent times, it is fantastic to see female entrepreneurship continuing to grow and flourish in the UK, and we must do all we can to encourage and build this further.”
