This event will help you decide what next step is the best fit for you. It could be going into the workplace, postgraduate study or even starting your own business. Whichever you decide, the School of Business and Law is here to support you beyond your graduation.

We’ll have postgraduate course tutors you can talk to, plus some of our professional partners you can engage with about professional charterships, membership or development courses. On top of this, we’ve invited local businesses, so it’s a good opportunity to meet some new contacts around Brighton.

Our expert industry panel will be discussing what skills workplaces are looking for. The panel is made up of Alex Winter – Human Resources Manager at Paxton Access Ltd and Brighton alumni; Devin Yuille – Group Recruitment Manager at Paxton Access Ltd; Vincent Kane – Help to Grow Programme Manager and senior economics lecturer, plus Phoebe Goff – current student on our Marketing Management BSc who completed her placement at IBM last year and has been offered a graduate role starting in September. The panel will be facilitated by Dan Bennett – Associate Dean (Academic Operations) at the School of Business and Law.

The event schedule is as follows:
4pm: Doors open and welcome drinks
5pm: School of Business and Law welcome and event introduction
5.30-6.30pm: Speak to postgraduate course leaders, business services and professional partners in the atrium
6.30pm: Keynote panel discussion addressing the skills shortage
7-8pm: Networking and drinks/nibbles

Don’t miss out on a great evening! Book your place.
