Using calendars

Online calendars are used to create and manage meetings, invite participants, and allow people to access each others’ calendars.

Online calendars such as Outlook make planning meetings easier as they give access to other peoples’ calendars, automatically send invitations, add entries to calendars, and keep records of who is attending. They can be accessed via mobile devices.

Getting into the habit of using calendars is an important organisational skill valued by employers.
