Calling all Centre for Arts and Wellbeing PGRs!

CAW’s Postgraduate Representative Jenny Jones is organising two upcoming sessions for PGRs around the topic of autoethnography, featuring experienced staff speakers from our Centre. The events are open to all PGRs (though if you aren’t already a member of our Centre, we would encourage you to consider joining)!

These events will be taking place in The Waste House at Grand Parade, and will include breakfast refreshments and lunch.

 

Session One: Friday May 23rd, 9:30 – 12:00 – Autoethnography – Dr Jess Moriarty

09:30 -10:00  Please join us at The Waste House for coffee, doughnuts (& healthier options!) to meet and get to know one another and share what we’re doing PhD research-wise.

10:00 -11:00  Autoethnography presentation with Dr. Jess Moriarty, followed by a Q&A

11:00 – 12:00  “What can the CAW do for you and what can you do for the CAW?” Discussion/sharing on CAW opportunities: networking, conferences & writing papers/bids.

Session Two: Friday June 6th, 9:30 – 12:00 –  Autoethnography – Other Hands- On Approaches – Emma Collins

09:30 – 10:00  Please join us at The Waste House for a second helping of coffee, doughnuts and more healthy options to meet other CAW members and share thoughts and ideas on what the CAW  could be and how your research could make an impact.

10:00 – 11:30 Presentation & Hands – on approaches to Autoethnography with Emma Collins (experienced content creator)

11:30 – 12:00 Feedback, actions for future events (& how to spend our PGR budget!) inspired by your suggestions 😀
