We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of one of our sparkling alumnae, award-winning author and comedienne, Louise Rennison on 29 February 2016. The university boasts a diverse community of talented alumni, from trailblazers in the scientific and technology communities, to Olympic and Paralympic athletes and coaches, international musicians, world-renowned designers and performers, and everywhere in between.
Some of our alumni are highly decorated following distinguished careers, and others are relative newcomers who have burst onto their respective scenes as movers and shakers. What they have in common is that they started here, were taught by our colleagues and were peers to our graduate community.
We take pride in their success and are delighted to associate them with the University of Brighton as they embody the Brighton effect.
Take a look at our list of notable alumni and also our pinterest page for a who’s who of Brighton alumni in the media. We are sure there are many more graduates of note, so if you know of any, please tell us at alumni@brighton.ac.uk.
