Project Questionnaire Survey Request on Career Skills
I am a final year BSc Biomedical Science student at the University of Brighton. For my dissertation project, I will be investigating which career skills are important for employment in areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Career skills are critical in supporting students towards gaining employment following completion of their degree. However, little is known on if the career skills developed in current degrees meet the needs of what is required to work in STEM.
Completing this survey will help us better understand which key career skills for employability in STEM are important, which will help us consider how our courses can be adapted to provide more important career skills. This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary, and all information provided during the survey will be held securely in line with the Data Protection Act (2018) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
