Brighton Racecourse is running a competition for a University of Brighton student to showcase their work at the venue.

Brighton Racecourse is looking for a talented local student to design, create and install a mural at the racecourse that encompasses the vibrancy of the city. The design needs to be unique and original and bring the essence of Brighton to the racecourse.

During the spring and summer months, Brighton Racecourse opens its gates to thousands of people, so this is a great opportunity to showcase your work in a prime location within the city.

This is an open brief – designs can include graffiti, painting, illustration, graphic design – Brighton Racecourse is looking for vision and creativity.

A wall at the racecourse will be the canvas and the winning work will need to be able to be re-produced onto it. Brighton Racecourse will provide the necessary materials to create and install the work. You will also get a credit on the wall.

6000mm x 5000mm

Your submission should be a scaled down version, setup to A3 but with a 300mm x 250mm box for the artwork
