Frankenstein at Sallis Benney Theatre: 12-13 Jan

Catch the University of Brighton Drama Society’s production of Mary Shelley’s classic at the university’s own theatre space.

Split into four different personas, the production explores the fractured psyche and the motivation behind what makes a monster. As creepy as ever, this clever and imaginative play tells the classic tale through several interconnected voices and perspectives.

Director Matthew Foster describes the choices behind the performance: ‘Exploring the true creation of the monster: the act of creation, or whether the monster is forced upon the being by those it met.’ To reach a conclusion, you have to see through the eyes of the monster himself.

When 12-13 January 2018, 7.30pm

Tickets £10; £7  concessions; £5 for students of local schools – available through the University of Brighton Students Union website or at the SU at the Grand Parade campus.
