Hilary Alexander OBE was among visiting speakers passing on invaluable industry knowledge to Fashion, Fashion Communications and Textiles students at a Graduate Fashion Week Masterclass.

Hilary, Industry Trustee at Graduate Fashion Week (GFW), and Editor-at-large of Hello Fashion Monthly was joined by Managing Director of GFW and Founder and Director of Fashion Scout, Martyn Roberts.

Also at the event were UoB alumni Annabel Waterhouse-Biggins, Digital Editor of GFW and Fashion Scout and Biljana  Poposka-Roberts GFW & Fashion Scout, Industry relationship & Special projects Manager.

As well as learning how to make the most of showing at GFW and prepare for life after graduation students were also given an insight into recruitment opportunities at GFW, maximising press and publicity exposure and what GFW judges are looking for in a winning entry.

Annabel also gave a talk about her life after graduation and her role as a digital editor.
