3D alumni nominated for prestigious award

Maisie Broadhead and Phoebe Cummings (also shortlisted for the Woman’s Hour Craft Award) have been shortlisted for the prestigious 25th Arts Foundation Anniversary Awards. Twenty-five artists have been shortlisted for the Arts Foundation Anniversary Awards, including artists Maisie Broadhead and Phoebe Cummings who are both 3D Design & Craft BA(Hons) alumni.

The shortlist was selected by a panel of judges including curator Hans Ulricht Obrist, craft specialist Philip Hughes, pianist and composer Joanna McGregor, Brighton Festival Director Andrew Comben, artist Isaac Julien, poet Tim Liardet and design critic and author Alice Rawsthorne.

From the 25 artists, five will be selected to receive £10,000 with each runner up receiving £1,000. This will be announced on 1 February 2018.
