Charlie uses photography and mixed media to create stop-motion animations and fantastical creatures drawn from aspects of their personality and inspired by the hobbies that they can’t attend due to the ban on large gatherings. They have created whimsical chimera designed to evoke feelings of hope and loss, of being overwhelmed, and of whimsical joy, and hope that their works can provide a moment of happiness, wonder, and shared escape during these unprecedented times.
