27th March

The beginnings of spring announced itself through the hum of bumble bees and the chorus of song birds. It was such a joy to walk into the woods today. John and Mike worked over in the North East part where I came across a well established and huge badger set which has been there a long time. Pathways continued to be built and old pathways reviewed. Some have been made too wide for the size of the woodland and we made a note of some that will need attention. I stood and watched the owl box, just in case something entered or left – but nothing. Do let me know if anyone sees anything happening in the box.
