Repairs and woodwork are definitely part of our remit and are actually incredibly satisfying to do. One of the really good things about our work on a Monday morning is the sense that what ever we do will be subsumed by the woodland at some point in the future and unlike most of our efforts at DIY – things are impermanent and our presence is as slight as possible. The two photographs below show our pile of wood chippings as you cross over the stile and one of the many places in the wood where they end up.
