Software Training Services:
We are a team of technical demonstrators that can be booked in by academics to provide inductions for their students.
We also offer follow up technical support to students.

Sign up inductions bookable by students:
We also run sign up sessions bookable by students directly. The running programme of inductions will start in Semester 2 and will be listed on this website.
Students that have attended any of our inductions and need follow up technical support can email us. We might be able to solve your problem via email or book in a technical tutorial.
Room 140 / Grand Parade
The Tech Hub has a dedicated PC-based computer training room, which doubles up as a pool room. Students are welcome to use the room, if no inductions are running. It is based at Grand Parade, room 140.
We are offer laser cutting, 3d printing, 3d scanning, body scanning, plasma cutting and CNC routing services. For more detailed info follow the links on the menu.
The hub is made up of four members of staff all with specialist skills in a variety of different areas.
Jim is the Tech-Hub manager. His skills lie in live performance, stage management and lighting. Jim also provides laser cutting services.
Sina runs inductions in Adobe software as well as web design. Sina also provides laser cutting services.
Ben runs inductions in Adobe software with a core focus on video and effects. He also provides laser cutting services.
Sam runs inductions in Rhino and Illustrator. He also advices on file set up and operates the TechHub machines (laser cutter, router, 3d printer, 3d scanners, plasma cutter).
