A new free weekday shuttle bus service linking all of our Brighton campuses and Varley Halls during term time will commence operation on 24 September 2018.  This service will only be accessible by the swiping of your Unicard.

The new circular UB1 service will run from Falmer campus to Old Steine, taking in Varley Halls, Moulsecoomb campus and The Level with an extra ‘park and ride’ stop for those using the Bridge car park while the Moulsecoomb development is underway.

Users will travel on a new fully-accessible 74 person capacity low-emission bus and will be able to make use of free on-board Wi-Fi and phone charging points. They will also be able to bookmark an app providing a live running GPS update and timetable: download here:  https://uob.beamtravel.info

The new bus will carry University of Brighton branding, making it a highly visible and distinctive presence on the City’s roads.

In addition, a new UB2 night bus service will run for the first two weeks of the new academic year from Varley Halls to Grand Parade departing at 22.30 and 23.30. Plus, from 24th September for 4 weeks Monday-Friday only, there will extra buses from 08:15am to 10:00am approx. These will be standard Worthing coaches.
