Before heading off for a well-deserved break this Christmas, staff and students across the university came together as part of our c-change campaign – to switch off unnecessary energy-guzzling equipment and lights, and help cut carbon emissions during the Christmas holiday period.

Thanks to the fantastic efforts of all the staff and students across the university who helped switch off for the break this year, we’ve saved a whopping 5 tonnes of carbon (the equivalent of boiling 101,120 kettles!), and raised £1.2k of funds to be put towards the university’s Global Opportunities Scholarship fund.
