Trust Agreement

On the 23rd September 2015, Members of the Sussex Peer Support Network developed a Trust Agreement for all members and guests attending SPSN events.  We agree to do the following:

  • Have fun!
  • Ask for help
  • Be encouraging, acknowledging peoples strengths
  • Be polite
  • Be peaceful
  • Be honest
  • Refrain from side-talk
  • Make an effort not to isolate
  • Respect others opinions and attitudes
  • Be open minded
  • Agree to differ
  • Show willingness to be involved
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Respect timekeeping
  • Value democracy
  • Practice good communication
  • Listen
  • Build trust
  • Make sure everyone understands
  • Provide constructive criticism
  • Stay on topic
  • Don’t judge
  • Give feedback positively
  • Respect confidentiality – do not identify organisations and individuals, except with permission.
  • Encourage teamwork, sharing roles
  • Positive body language
  • Take responsibility for the task

Short Version:
