9-15 February 2015
Throughout the week you can join in online and in person as part of our campaign to help you get the most from your money. Organised by the Student Advice Service at the University of Brighton, this week you’ll have lots of opportunities to discover and share money saving tips.
You can take the Money Personality test and get some tailor-made advice on how to make the pounds stretch that bit further.
READY STEADY COOK COMPETITION
Or if you’re in a house or flat share, how about taking part in the Ready Steady Cook competition? We’re asking housemates to make a meal together during the week on a budget of £10 and send us the recipe, cost and a photo. We’ll pick the best meal at the end of the week and you’ll take home a hamper of goodies.
MONEY ADVICE STANDS – SHARE YOUR TIPS
At the information stands, we’ll have lots of freebies and sound advice on a whole range of subjects including part-time work, how to safeguard against scams and phishing, getting fit for less and the ins and outs of credit and debt. We’ll be joined by the Careers Service and some SSGTs.
Want to shout about your campus? It’s all about location, location, location and we want you to share your best deal in town so other students can benefit. We’ll publish them on the money blog and your campus facebook pages.
