Tip 11 of the 12 (money saving) Tips of Christmas

Did somebody say free (or very cheap) Christmas?

With one week to go and you’ve not even got started with any preparation – cards, gifts, activities, entertainment, food – you’ll find that there is a fine line between perfection and utter disaster.

Many shops will sell off their excess products in the run up to Christmas, so if you’re willing to hold out until the last minute, you will be able to nab a bargain at the 11th hour. The downside to this of course, is that you run the risk of stock running out and very little choice left on 24th December. This applies to perishable goods or seasonal store cupboard items such as jars of mincemeat and sauces.

Even if that means you’re too late for this year, you can always get started on next year (check the best before dates)
