News from the Student Advice Service at the University of Brighton

Closing date for Student Support Fund

The Student Support Fund is open throughout the whole academic year to all Home fee paying students, both undergraduate and postgraduate. The closing date for final year applications has already gone, but we are still accepting applications from continuing undergraduate and postgraduate students.

There is a short application form to complete which you can download from the website and you are also required to provide supporting documents. The completed form and scanned documents should be emailed to funds@brighton.ac.uk

The closing date to submit your application is Friday 5th June 2020.

As long as we receive your completed form and all documents on or before 5th June, we guarantee that your application will be considered.

The application process can take up to 28 days once we have received your complete application and we may require further information from you. Please keep a close eye on your uni email account as this is how we will communicate with you.

If you are not able to apply by the deadline, don’t worry – we will have a Summer Fund for students in most need and unable to work over the long vacation and the Student Support Fund 20/21 will open on Monday 7th September 2020 for the next academic year.

If you have any questions before you make an application or you want to talk to an Adviser, please contact us by email studentadvice@brighton.ac.uk. If you want to have a proper conversation, we can Teams call you or use a telephone, so please let us know.

Best wishes
