Polish filmaker, Ladislas Starevich, made the first stop motion animation ‘The Cameraman’s revenge’ in 1911 using wired insects.
Trying to investigate why stop motion animation has an enduring appeal. Here are some examples of work cited in the article.
A full day of presentations with Peer led feedback. The advice I was given was to not try and combine too many methods. I also, personally feel that I need to do more scientific research on slow processes and the affects on the brain. Other sources to look at were Queens Marys dolls house and the Nutshell Murder scenes which are interesting as miniatures and in terms of skill.
I was also sign posted to the music video by Cardiacs for their song, MaresNest which I found really inspiring.
Click on link below to view my presentation slides which I now realise dont show my visual language very well ( at all!) so something learnt for next time.
