Productive Urban Landscapes

Research and practice around the CPUL design concept

Lecture to students at the TU Berlin, Germany

Katrin Bohn held a lecture for Master’s students at the Technical University of Berlin’s Institute of Landscape Achitecture and Environmental Planning (ILAUP) in Germany. The lecture was part of the Institute’s “Theory & Practice” lecture series for students of the University’s international Master’s in Urban Design and organised by its Department Landscape Architecture . Open Space Planning headed by Prof. Undine Giseke. Katrin’s lecture focused on the development of an international urban agriculture discourse as seen from one of it’s protagonists, Bohn&Viljoen Architects. It presented the three main stages of urban agriculture as an urban design subject moving from a fringe interest to centre stage over the course of 20 years.

Katrin Bohn has collaborated with Prof. Giseke and the Department Landscape Architecture . Open Space Planning at TU Berlin before, most intensely during her guest professorship at the same Institute between 2010 and 2014.
