LISTEN: The Ten-minute Powerpoint rule

 

When spoken content in classes tends to go over ten minutes without a pause, our ability to listen, absorbe and ultimately remember is dminished. The notional “TED Talk” is usually around ten minutes (though it has lengthened in recent years) supports the evidence that we cannot hold too much nformation.

How do we break our virtual teaching content down into manageable more valuable and lasting chunks?
