Diversity in nursing involves the following nursing metaparadigms: ‘human beings and health’ plus internationalisation, interprofessional working, law and ethics and equality and diversity.

This theme will be present in each module to support student diversity awareness and the impact of ill health on individual service users.

The Professional Practice modules in each year will have ‘Professional development’ and ‘Developing interpersonal skills and therapeutic relationships’ proficiencies which will help students develop their interprofessional working and diversity awareness.

Law and ethics will be mapped throughout the curriculum.
