Wonder Things – Tim Walker

For me, the exciting thing about this exhibition was how it was curated. Every room propelled you into a different mood through colour and texture. The stark white box when you first came in woke you up to then be made calm in the nude room, where the curtains (that looked like they were made of velvet) were made of PVC. It is the detail in which everything was thought out and the precision that is admirable. This exhibition made me think of how I could display my work and whether I could try and manipulate people’s emotions. Often I display my work in a way which is lazy and this makes brings down the actual content of my work.

  • How will I present my work?
  • Do not overlook the curation.
  • How do you manipulate people’s emotions within a space? – Sound, smell, lights, colour
