Grace Johnson
Grace Johnson BA Hons Primary Education with QTS
Grace has taught for ten years in an all through Primary School with a Nursery. She has experience of teaching in Key Stage One, including taking Year 2 classes through SATs and the transition to Year 3. She has also been teacher/manager of a school based nursery.
Grace comes from a family of teachers and, after spending her teenage years exploring other potential career paths, she realised that teaching was where her heart also lay and embarked on the BA Hons with QTS Primary Education course at the University of Brighton on finishing her A-Levels. With a specialism in the early years age range of 3-7 years, Grace thoroughly enjoyed her four years at university and remembers well the mix of excitement and trepidation that a School Based Training period brings.
She has a passion for the Early Years and providing children with the opportunities to learn through play and developing activities and learning by following the children’s interests and ideas. Grace is excited to now be in a position to support new teaching students in their School Based Training.
