Malagiri update
We’re delighted to let you know that the school was unaffected by last week’s earthquake.
Tremors caused by the quake were felt in the capital, Kathmandu. The epicentre of the quake was Ramche, about 100 km (62 miles) east of Kathmandu, near the border with China’s Tibet region.
Government rules are not allowing schools to open yet in Nepal.
The Malagiri school teachers are therefore continuing to visit pupils at their homes for lessons – head teacher Yubraj Rasaili reported that staff and children are all enjoying this very much as you can see in our image gallery:
