In order to understand skateboarding and narrative, I have broken down the fashion film Act Da Fool. By breaking down the film in a storyboard I am able to analyse the film more in depth and to understand the construction of its scenes. By doing this I am broadening my understanding of film which can help me when it comes to developing my own storyboards for the films I plan to produce in my Final Major project.

I have also written out the script for this film in order to gain a better understanding of narrative. I feel that the stream of consciousness which we witness in the film makes it very effective. I wish to achieve an outcome as effective as this for my final major project therefore I am looking at the script to understand its construction and meaning. I plan to continue my investigation into this by looking at poetry and capturing recordings of peoples stream of consciousness.
