IBM Placements

Dear all,

IBM’s ‘Business’ and ‘Technology’ industrial placements are going live next Monday (19th) and closing on Wednesday (21st).

You do not need to be studying a technological degree to apply for its Technology roles. However, you must be on track for a 2:1 for any of its roles.

You need to catch this window.

As in previous years IBM strongly encourages all candidates to ‘register their interest’ on its website, against the role you are most interested in between now and the opening date(s) to ensure you will be notified in advance of your chosen role going live and being available to apply to.

Once the role is live, the initial application is very short and straightforward and should take you no longer than 5 minutes to complete.

You can register here: https://www.ibm.com/uk-en/employment/undergraduate/#University_Placements

Hope this helps

Summer Placements!

Post for First and Second Years

Dear all,

Summer placements are an excellent way of gaining great work experience, getting a foot in the door of a company, improving your commercial awareness, developing technical skills and building up contacts in your industry of choice.

If you are looking for a Summer Vacation Placement, here is an excellent site to find those jobs: https://www.e4s.co.uk/docs/internships.htm

Some companies – BT, Keuhne & Nagel, for example – only offer Summer placements so the site is definitely worth looking at.

You can also look here for Summer Placements via Rate My Placement: https://www.ratemyplacement.co.uk/search?duration=1&show=jobs

If you need help, please mail us in the Employability Hub at placements.business@brighton.ac.uk
