Soma is a series of self-portrait pictures that are trying to capture pain and loss from the past. Sometimes our past leaves us with scars etched on the soul. This project relates to my own project in many ways because I have personally experienced what it feels like to have your soul marked by the scars from the past. Fortunately, thanks to the photography I can transform those scars into something unique.
