Saima presents views of prospective users on microneedles for skin cancer detection

You may remember that we ran a focus group study over the summer to solicit public input into our microneedle diagnostics research targeting skin cancer. Well, last Friday, Saima (pictured below) presented the results to staff and students in the school. The results were interesting and Saima did a good job in discussing the work with the attendees. The research has identified a clear need and user enthusiasm for the technology, as well as areas for further development. We will soon be sharing the findings with key stakeholders.

As for Saima, she will shortly be leaving the research team to undertake pre-registration training to be a pharmacist. We wish her all the best!
