1. Is the project understandable to a general academic audience?
Yes, though the term jigsaw needs to be explained in more detail somewhere in the context or aims.
2. Is the purpose of the project clear?
Yes, analysing the effects of jigsaw learning.
3. Is the project worthwhile? Could the project help inform the practice of other teachers in higher education?
This could potentially improve student engagement as it provides students with the “expert” identity.
4. Is it feasible to undertake the project by June 2020?
It appears so. It would be beneficial to provide more detailed timeline.
5. Are the proposed methods appropriate for the project?
The data is collected via an interview, though it is not clear what data is being collected.
6. Does the project have any serious ethical issues that need to be addressed?
Not at this stage.
7. Has your colleague been able to identify 4-6 appropriate books, articles or other documents to provide context for the project?
