Starting off by creating various ‘patterns’ using a mix of media. Then were told to make various creations using the previously marked pages;
- A landscape
- A box
- A ladder
- An animal
- A plant
- Then were told to put in some weather- due to my location though I thought to insert stars and a lil spaceship instead.
The explanation on why was given afterwards; we were in fact filling in a variation of the Kokology Cube test- and given explanations on what each part was supposed to stand for. A very fun development!
I enjoyed this workshop greatly- this would probably be the first time I produced cut-outs artwork and I think it opened my eyes greatly to the possibilities there, as well as putting more trust into experimental work- I struggle creating pieces and trusting my instincts in letting it form without planning the final layout.
