An attempted experiment with mixing dish soap with watercolour paints- made the watercolours stain the pages far deeper and instantly. Basically do not do it- had to clean all my tools as they got so soapy and ruined other works.

Looking into drawing the sea and sky, using largely water based media. The subjects themselves I have always struggled with, and this was also the final push into me purchasing some more good quality watercolour paper- this would have been at least half the difficulty if I wasn’t just using regular sketchbook paper methinks.
