Brighton secures top 10 position in the UK’s Best Student Cities

Brighton, the city that we call home and share our name with has been ranked in the top 100 globally (up 9 places from last year) and in the UK top 10 of the QS Best Student Cities 2019. This secures our position in the UK top 10 for another year running, which goes to show that Brighton is a fantastic location for students to study and live.

Brighton is a diverse, friendly and liberal city; steeped in creativity and unique charm it is home to our 21,000 students from over 140 different countries. Located on the South-East coast of England, based closely to Gatwick airport and Heathrow Airport, Brighton is often referred to as London-by-the-sea; whilst within easy reach of the real London (only 55 minutes away), Brighton has its own flavour of culture, art, sport, history and landscapes to rival those of the “Big Smoke”, and we’re located on the beach!

We have a host of events that entertain throughout the year and positions us nationally and globally as a hot tipped destination for visitors ( last year we welcomed 11 million tourists to Brighton), including the Brighton Fringe Festival, Brighton Festival, Great Escape Festival, Digital Festival, Brighton Pride and more!
