NSS Results show Significant Improvement
Professor Ruth Whittaker, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Education & Students, reflects on the 2019 NSS results:
They show that 80.29% of our students were satisfied or very satisfied with their overall experience, 3.68% up on 2018 – amongst the largest increases by a university. We have seen improvements across all measures with improvements of around 3% across a number of key measures, including TEF metrics.
This is fantastic news and is down to the outstanding efforts of colleagues across the University to enhance the student experience. It is especially gratifying to see the targeted interventions we have been making reflected in these latest results. As an institution with learning and teaching at its heart I want to see us do more to celebrate and share our best practice and successes.
