Madagascar’s visit to the Windmill

We had a really amazing day finding out lots of interesting facts about the windmill.

It was really scary going down the stairs backwards because it was really really high, some people wanted to scream, but some people but enjoyed the climb and thought it was fun to come down backwards There were 4 sets of stairs which were really wide.

We liked Aiden from the university – he is the best because he taught us how to use the camera and the microphone.

The windmill is 201 years old and we found out lots of facts like the sails are called sweeps in Sussex and we went to all 3 floors in the windmill. We found out it was built in 1814 and the mill makes flour. We also found out that oxen were used because horses didn’t have enough grip to pull the heavy equipment. The windmill was the only place you could buy flours when it was built.

Please read our work and look at our photographs.
